Serves 1 large smoothie | Gluten free, dairy free, vegan option
Ingredients
· 1 cup frozen blueberries
· 1 banana, fresh or frozen
· 1 tbsp peanut butter
· 1 scoop protein powder of choice (e.g. ISO vanilla or pumpkin seed)
· 1 tbsp hemp seeds
· 1 cup milk of choice (e.g. soy, almond, or coconut)
Method
1. Add everything to a blender and blitz until smooth. Add more liquid upon your desired texture.
2. Enjoy immediately.
Tips
· Add 1 tsp of chia seeds for boost in fiber and ALA omega 3’s.
· Replace peanut butter with another nut or seed butter.
· For extra creaminess, add a scoop of full-fat coconut or greek yogurt.
· For a recovery smoothie, add a scoop of L-Glutamine.
